“12 mirades, un territori”: photography and conversation at Can Clos

Yesterday, Saturday 26 September, Can Clos hosted the photography gathering “12 mirades, un territori”. The event brought together eleven photographers: Geert Van der Straeten, Jordi Miñarro, Eugènia Cros, Xavier Fernández Renter, Albert Gisalló, Lluís Serrat, Elionor Aguilar, Josep Burset, Jordi Crosas, Jordi Gamell and Toni Romero.

The warm atmosphere among the participants continued throughout the day. In the afternoon, the photographers explored Can Clos, La Cellera de Ter and Amer, each observing and interpreting the same places from a different perspective. In the evening, a public screening brought their photographs together. Each photographer had the opportunity to speak about their images, explain what had caught their attention and share their approach to photography. The presentation became a conversation about the choices and perspectives behind each photograph.

IDEA thanks all eleven photographers for taking part and sharing their work so generously, as well as everyone who joined us. We hope the connections made during the gathering continue to grow and that “12 mirades, un territori” develops into a larger photography project.
