Green FabLabs Catalonia: a week of creativity, learning and connection

From June 1st to 5th, the Green FabLabs training week in Catalonia has come to a close after an intense and inspiring journey across Girona (Centre Cívic Ter & Llibreria 22), La Cellera de Ter, Amer and Santa Coloma de Farners.

The participants, Centrum Kultury Nowy Pafawag from Poland, Dorea Educational Institute from Cyprus, and Idea Associació Cultural, shared knowledge and experiences around social innovation, creativity, and the design of spaces with territorial impact.

Activities included workshops led by leading professionals such as Laura Cebrià (ISOM), Diana Pinos (Creativikit), Maria Batet (Valors d’emprendre), and Oriol Costa (Fundació Girona Regió del Coneixement), as well as a local inspiration day with visits to the Centre Eix de Negoci in Santa Coloma de Farners, the cultural fablab at Can Clos (La Cellera de Ter), and community initiatives in Amer, with the participation of mayor Maria Rosa Vila.

This week has reaffirmed the power of creativity, collaboration and local action to imagine and build more sustainable futures.
