Six concerts, two premieres and eagerly awaited returns. Sona Amer reaches its 11th edition with a programme that will bring Maria Callas’s operatic repertoire, the talent of Arts Simfònica Jove and the Balkan rhythms of Bratia Balkan Pompe in an orchestral format to the Teatre El Casal d’Amer. Roger Mas and the Cobla Sant Jordi will return with Vol. 2, while Manu Guix will share songs for voice and piano in close connection with the audience. The closing concert will bring together music and the spoken word to commemorate 80 years of Corrandes d’exili i de presó, in memory of Pere Quart.

10 JANUARY – TRIBUTE TO MARIA CALLAS
Tribute to Maria Callas is a concert dedicated to the legendary Greek-American soprano, regarded as one of the great icons in the history of opera. The programme brings together soprano Montserrat Martí Caballé, baritone Luis Santana and pianist Víctor Carbajo in a recital featuring some of the most representative works from the repertoire immortalised by Maria Callas.
The programme includes a carefully selected collection of arias and operatic excerpts by Rossini, Verdi, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart, offering a journey through the great works of bel canto and Italian opera, with performances full of expression, sensitivity and virtuosity.
Montserrat Martí Caballé began her international career with her debut at the Hamburg Staatsoper as Zerlina in Don Giovanni, a performance that received excellent reviews. Shortly afterwards, she made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu as Liu in Turandot, a debut described by the press as “the birth of a star”. Since then, she has performed at leading international theatres and concert halls, including the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg and the Palau de la Música Catalana, working under conductors such as Zubin Mehta and Sir Neville Marriner.
Alongside her, acclaimed baritone Luis Santana and pianist Víctor Carbajo complete an ensemble of outstanding artistic quality, offering an elegant, moving and sensitive concert conceived as a tribute to one of the most extraordinary voices in operatic history.

17 JANUARY – ARTS SIMFÒNICA JOVE
Arts Simfònica Jove is an initiative founded in 2018 to promote orchestral training for young musicians in Catalonia. Under the musical direction of Josep Maria Sauret, the orchestra brings together more than sixty performers aged between 15 and 25 who are undertaking professional and higher music studies at the country’s leading conservatoires.
The project offers its members the opportunity to work in an environment of high artistic standards, sharing the stage with soloists and professionals of recognised standing. This experience allows young musicians to deepen their knowledge of the symphonic repertoire, refine their technique and acquire the skills needed for a future professional career.
Beyond its educational role, Arts Simfònica Jove has established itself as an ensemble of considerable artistic quality, with a programme combining major works from the classical repertoire with new projects and prestigious collaborations. Its commitment to talent, musical excellence and the promotion of symphonic music makes it one of the leading initiatives supporting new generations of performers in Catalonia.

14 FEBRUARY – BRATIA – BALKAN POMPE EXTRAVAGANZA
The birth of BRATIA – BALKAN POMPE EXTRAVAGANZA…the beginning of a new chapter. A major musical production that expands Bratia’s sound with the participation of an orchestra, bringing a new artistic dimension to one of the most distinctive acts on the contemporary Balkan music scene. The show combines the energy of traditional Balkan music, jazz manouche and world music with the power of an orchestral ensemble. The project champions dialogue between tradition and innovation, making music a space for encounter, celebration and connection between cultures.

28 FEBRUARY – ROGER MAS & COBLA SANT JORDI VOL.2
After selling out their first appearance at Sona Amer, Roger Mas and the Cobla Sant Jordi – Ciutat de Barcelona return to Amer to present Vol. 2, the continuation of one of the most distinctive and acclaimed projects in contemporary Catalan music.
The singer-songwriter from Solsona once again brings his voice and poetic world together with one of the country’s most prestigious cobla ensembles, in a programme that creates a dialogue between singer-songwriter music and the rich sound of the cobla. Xavier Guitó’s arrangements add a new dimension to the repertoire, creating an elegant, moving and richly nuanced performance.
Vol. 2 is a musical journey through different traditions and languages —Catalan, Occitan, Italian, French, Serbian and Spanish— featuring previously unreleased pieces and new versions of emblematic songs by Roger Mas. A mature and surprising programme that reaffirms the rapport between the singer-songwriter and the Cobla Sant Jordi, making their return to Sona Amer one of the most eagerly awaited events in the programme.

7 MARCH – MANU GUIX
Manu Guix presents an acoustic concert that highlights the essence of his music through the intimacy of voice and piano. The programme takes audiences through the most representative songs from his discography, with a particular focus on his latest album, Moments, alongside personal reinterpretations of songs that form part of our collective memory.
One of the show’s distinctive features is its interaction with the audience, who can help select the songs, making each concert different and allowing it to develop spontaneously as a shared experience.
With an established career, Manu Guix is one of the most versatile artists on the Catalan music scene. As a singer-songwriter, composer, pianist and musical director, he has created numerous successful theatre and musical productions, while also developing an extensive recording career and a prominent television presence. His ability to connect with audiences, his interpretative sensitivity and the quality of his compositions make this an elegant, moving concert of outstanding artistic quality.

14 MARCH – CORRANDES D’EXILI I DE PRESÓ
A major commemorative concert bringing together, on one stage, some of the most prominent figures in the music and culture of the Catalan Countries.
This concert, co-produced by Idea Associació Cultural and Barnasants, which will bring Sona Amer 2027 to a close, commemorates the 80th anniversary of Corrandes de l’exili, by Pere Quart (Joan Oliver). A tribute to an essential work of Catalan literature that still speaks today of freedom, memory and the strength of culture in the face of adversity.
As of 1 November 2026, contractual commitments mean we are not yet able to announce the names of all the artists and guests taking part in this final concert. We ask you to put your trust in us: it will be a special opportunity to see artists who rarely share a stage performing together in Amer.

Individual tickets will be available from 1 December. - If any concert cannot take place for reasons beyond the organiser’s control, Idea Associació Cultural will offer an alternative programme of equivalent quality and standing. Ticket holders who prefer may request a refund of the ticket price or, for season tickets, the proportional amount corresponding to the affected concert.
