Six concerts, two premieres and eagerly awaited returns.<\/strong> Sona Amer<\/strong> reaches its 11th edition<\/strong> with a programme that will bring Maria Callas\u2019s operatic repertoire, the talent of Arts Simf\u00f2nica Jove and the Balkan rhythms of Bratia Balkan Pompe in an orchestral format to the Teatre El Casal d\u2019Amer<\/strong>. Roger Mas and the Cobla Sant Jordi will return with Vol. 2<\/em>, while Manu Guix will share songs for voice and piano in close connection with the audience. The closing concert will bring together music and the spoken word to commemorate 80 years of Corrandes d\u2019exili i de pres\u00f3<\/strong>, in memory of Pere Quart.<\/p>\n From January to March 2027, six afternoons to experience music up close.<\/p>\n Tribute to Maria Callas is a concert dedicated to the legendary Greek-American soprano, regarded as one of the great icons in the history of opera. The programme brings together soprano Montserrat Mart\u00ed Caball\u00e9, baritone Luis Santana and pianist V\u00edctor Carbajo in a recital featuring some of the most representative works from the repertoire immortalised by Maria Callas.10 JANUARY – TRIBUTE TO MARIA CALLAS<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\nThe programme includes a carefully selected collection of arias and operatic excerpts by Rossini, Verdi, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart, offering a journey through the great works of bel canto and Italian opera, with performances full of expression, sensitivity and virtuosity.
\nMontserrat Mart\u00ed Caball\u00e9 began her international career with her debut at the Hamburg Staatsoper as Zerlina in Don Giovanni, a performance that received excellent reviews. Shortly afterwards, she made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu as Liu in Turandot, a debut described by the press as \u201cthe birth of a star\u201d. Since then, she has performed at leading international theatres and concert halls, including the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg and the Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana, working under conductors such as Zubin Mehta and Sir Neville Marriner.
