On February 8, Teatre El Casal d’Amer was completely full for the concert by the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, part of the Sona Amer program.
Under the direction of Joan Chamorro, the band delivered an intense and vibrant performance that highlighted the talent and personality of its young musicians. With more than 20 years of history, the project has become an international reference in the training of new jazz talents.
The ensemble, which won second prize at a prestigious competition in New York last May, captivated the audience with a varied repertoire, strong musical cohesion, and several outstanding solo moments. The concert was enthusiastically received by a full house, with the audience responding with long applause.
A night that confirms the prestige and vitality of a project that continues to show how jazz can also be a space for learning, passion, and musical excellence.
